Forest School Holiday Club

A relaxed, nature-based holiday experience where children can explore, create, play and build confidence outside.

Our holiday club offers children the chance to enjoy woodland adventures, bush-craft activities, campfire snacks, games, crafts and free play in a safe and nurturing forest school environment.

Holiday Club Information

- Ages: 5 - 8 (siblings from 3 and up to 11 also welcome)

- Time: 10am - 3pm

- Optional early drop-off: from 9am

- Price: £35 (siblings £30)

- Early drop off £5 

Activities include include:

- Campfire snacks

- Den building

- Nature crafts

- Bug hunting and wildlife exploration

- Bushcraft activities

- Creative outdoor play

- Woodland games and challenges

- Story telling

- Relaxation and nature connection


Activities vary depending on the season, weather and interests of the children attending.

Our Vision

At Woodland Tales, we believe children thrive when they are given time, space and freedom to connect with nature, build confidence and follow their curiosity.


Our sessions are child-led, inclusive and designed to support wellbeing, creativity and independence through outdoor play and exploration.

What to bring:

- Weather appropriate outdoor clothing

- Waterproofs/wellies

- Spare clothes

- Packed lunch

- Water bottle


We run in nearly all weather conditions unless extreme weather makes sessions unsafe. 

Safety information:

Woodland Tales Holiday Club is run by:

- Experienced forest school leader

- Experienced and qualified primary and complex needs school teacher

- DBS checked staff

- Staff paediatric and outdoor first aid trained

- Safeguarding procedures in place

- Small group sizes
